Hey guys! Alphabethon round 4 is upon us! If you don’t know what Alphabethon is, it’s a readathon based on the alphabet. As I’ve said in the past,
Alphabethon is a super cool, relaxed, and fun readathon that is designed to help you work through your TBR, one letter at a time. I’ve joined the team as one of the hosts (which is super exciting), so you’ll see me hosting some sprints throughout the week. We are now on Round 4 (oh, how time flies), so the challenges are all based around the letter D. This round will run from October 23-29. Also, as per usual, Michelle (the lovely creator) is giving away a $25 Amazon gift card! All you have to do to enter is post a picture of your D TBR on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #alphabethondtbr. Those are the basics, but definitely make sure you check out Michelle’s post with all of the hosts and other details as well. 🙂
Alphabethon starts in about… oh, let’s see, two hours for me? No worries though, it’s never too late to sign up! Any reading is winning. 🙂 Alright, on to the TBR! Continue reading
Hey guys! I participated in Readathon by Zoe yesterday, but the Spookathon is nigh (it starts tomorrow, yikes!) so I thought I’d share my planned TBR with you! I’m super excited for this readathon and I am very pleased that there are only five prompts. I definitely think I can knock all of these out. 🙂 Let’s get into it, shall we? Continue reading
Hey guys! Sorry I disappeared for a while there! I actually got rather caught up in my reading and I started school about a week ago, so I just… yeah. Disappeared. But I’m back! 😉 I realized I still haven’t done a few of my readathon wrap-ups, and as more just keep happening, I figured I’d catch up on a few in the next week or two here. Anyway, the Biannual Bibliothon actually happened a month ago (July 23-29), so it’s been a long time coming! I love this readathon, though, so I definitely wanted to share how I did with you all. 🙂
My Bibib TBR consisted of 7 books, and while I didn’t expect to read all seven, I was hoping to read 4 or 5. Alas, I did not manage quite that many, but I still got a few, so I’m pleased with how it went! Continue reading
Hey guys! I’m currently participating in… A lot of readathons, but as some of you may know, I am planning to participate in the Hogwarts Cramathon! It’s a 24 hour readathon, happening on the 18th, with challenges on the days leading up to it. I announced it in my list of August readathons and made a tentative TBR (which I already think will change) as well! Anyhoo, the first two challenges are up (as, after all, it is the second day of challenges), and they look super fun, so I figured I’d put my two cents in! Here goes! Continue reading
Hey guys! A few days ago I posted a TBR for The Reading Quest as well as the 7 in 7 readathon, and I am pleased to update you with GOOD NEWS! (Well, mostly) I finished the last 100 pages of Uprooted (which I was reading for #MakeMeRead) on the 14th (first day of 7 in 7, second day of TRQ), and then was able to read the first 70 pages of Book of Shadows before I went to bed. I finished the last 100 pages of BoS today (the 15th) and then was able to knock out Ronit & Jamil in an hour, so I am now 2 books down for both! Unfortunately, I didn’t really love either one, so I figured I’d combine them both in a double review for you guys! Let’s just get started, shall we? Continue reading
Hey guys! Yesterday I posted my #TheReadingQuest TBR, and I mentioned that I had decided to join the 7 in 7 read-a-thon last minute. I had heard of it before but wasn’t planning on joining until it was 2 am on the 11th and all of a sudden I was creating a TBR. Whoops?
If you don’t know, the 7 in 7 readathon is basically all about reading seven things in seven days. They don’t even have to be books! It can be books, short stories, anthologies, magazines, graphic novels, comics, anything, but the goal is to read seven of them. It’s hosted by Ashley @ Said the Story, and she’s enlisted 6 other BookTubers to host some Twitter sprints throughout the week as well! It’s extremely relaxed and it’s just meant to be fun and a great way to get those reading juices flowing!
Alright, let’s get into my TBR! I’ve picked seven (mostly short) books that I aim to read (obviously), but I have a few alternates that I may end up reading instead, depending on my mood! (Covers will be linked to their respective Goodreads pages!) Continue reading
Hey guys! A couple of days ago, I posted a list of all of the August read-a-thons I’ll be participating in, and I mentioned that I would be participating in The Reading Quest and also posting a TBR before it started! Aaaaand here I am! To start, here’s a little run-down on what this whole thing’s all about:
The Reading Quest, hosted by Aentee @ Read at Midnight, is a month-long readathon based on a video game format, in which you attempt to complete prompts for your quest to gain experience and HP!
In this challenge, you’ll be embarking on a journey to conquer your TBR pile through a series of stages. You’ll read new stories, gain experience, and level up a character of your choosing.
The quest will take place between Sunday 13th August to Sunday 10th September, 2017. All adventurers are encouraged to register their interest in the sign up form in Aentee’s original post, which will be open until Sunday 13th August.
CW of Read, Think, Ponder is the amazing artist behind all of the character illustration provided for the readathon! Make sure to give her lots of love; you can find her on Instagram, Twitter, and of course, her fabulous blog!
