The Fall-time Cozy-time Tag

Fall-Time.png

Hey guys! I love doing tags, but I’m absolutely terrible at actually doing and keeping up with them. Alas, I went through my drafts, and I found the Fall-time Cozy-time book tag! It looks like fun, and I’m glad to be finally doing it. πŸ™‚ Thanks so much to Analee @ Book Snacks for tagging me! The original creator was Sam from Sam’s Nonsense, so kudos to her for these lovely prompts. πŸ˜‰ Continue reading

Biannual Bibliothon Day 3: The Blogger Book Tag and Villain’s Synopsis!

Summer Biannual Bibliothon 2017 Day 3

Hey guys! It’s day 3 of the Biannual Bibliothon! Woooo! Yesterday I posted a review for the day 2 blogging challenge, but I missed the first day because I was participating in the 24 in 48 readathon. So I thought, what better way to catch up than doing a two-in-one? First the challenge for day 1, and then the challenge for today. Day one’s challenge was the Blogger Book Tag, hosted by Nana @ 4 Teen Liars! Let’s just go for it, shall we? Continue reading

The Spring Cleaning Book Tag: Unhauling More Books!

Spring Cleaning Book Tag

Hey guys! (I know it’s not spring, shhh let’s just pretend shall we) As many of you may know, I (fairly recently) started doing the Down the TBR Hole meme, in which you go through 5-10 books on your TBR and decide whether to keep them or let them go. As I started with about 700 books on my TBR (and continue to add more as I go, argh), I definitely deemed this idea necessary for me. However, with 700 books to get through and only doing ten per week, I’m sure you can do the math- that’s a long time (70 weeks) and it’ll be even longer as I’ve already added extra books and I’m sure that won’t stop. So I figured, why not try to get rid of a few extra?

I also recently started to watch BooksandLala‘s channel on YouTube. I find her super entertaining and her closet unhaul videos are both genius and awesome (each month, she watches her book haul from two years prior, and any books she hasn’t already read or unhauled, she either has to read in the next month or get rid of). Although those would be pretty hard to replicate, I found out that she actually made a spring cleaning book tag/unhaul about a year ago! Not all of the topics will necessarily apply to me, as she was getting rid of physical books (including ones she’s already read), so I may adjust some of them to fit my purposes. Here goes! πŸ™‚

(This ended up being long enough that I decided to split it into two parts, so this is part one of the tag)

1. A Book You Didn’t Like: A Book With a Cover You’re Just Not a Fan Of

(Of which you find the blurb equally disinteresting)

The things people search for on the internet!

The Strange Things People Search For On the Internet.png

Hello out there!

I know I’ve been doing a lot of reviews (and very sporadically, I might add), so I thought I’d liven things up a bit…. With some search terms! I’ve seen quite a few people do this (particularly Cait @ Paper Fury comes to mind), and it’s always funny. There are a lot, and some of them are fairly practical, so these are just the best I’ve seen so far!

Um, yes. We do quite a lot of that here.

thank you for listening-

Awe, I’m glad I turned up in this one! I don’t say it enough, but I always try to thank you guys for everything. You’re all so amazing. The book blogosphere wouldn’t be the same without you!

I think there was ONE gif on this. ONE.

ya books guaranteed to bring you joy-

None of those here. No, we tend to lean towards the ones with lots of death. And pain. And sobbing. It’s glorious. Continue reading

Happy Birthday to me! (yes, I’m posing right now)

Yup, it’s my birthday!

I’m going to have to get used to my new age haha. I always seem to get it down right before the next one comes along! I’m super excited for the year to come, blogging-wise as well as everything else! πŸ™‚ Anyhoo, I figured I’d just do a quick little tag!

Thanks so much to Dimple @ Enthralling Dimple for tagging us! This was her first ever book tag, so check it out! She gave credit to all the creators, but ain’t nobody got time for that, so click on her links if you’d like to know where this all started. πŸ™‚

For this tag, you have to relate your five most used emojis or five recently used emojis to books!

The Book Cover Guessing Challenge

We were tagged way back in August of 2015 for this…. Can you tell I’ve started to dig into my tags? πŸ˜‰ In any case, thanks so much to Tasha @ Head in the Clouds, Heart in the Books for the tag! It looks super fun, and I can’t wait to get started!

Essentially, you pick some books (generally fairly well-known) that you know little to nothing about, and guess what they’re about based on the cover and title. And then compare your guess with the actual synopsis and see how badly you failed compare the two!
