More Happy Than Not 01

Thank you so much to Aimal @ Bookshelves and Paperbacks for tagging me! Way back in 2015, when I was actually tagged, I had not read this book. I have now though, and- I have no words. I NEED HISTORY IS ALL YOU LEFT ME. I NEED IT NOW. Moving along from that craziness…

This tag is incredibly old and outdated because I’m super behind is super awesome and was created by Shelumiel @ Bookish and Awesome!

The things people search for on the internet!

Hello out there!

I know I’ve been doing a lot of reviews (and very sporadically, I might add), so I thought I’d liven things up a bit…. With some search terms! I’ve seen quite a few people do this (particularly Cait @ Paper Fury comes to mind), and it’s always funny. There are a lot, and some of them are fairly practical, so these are just the best I’ve seen so far!

Um, yes. We do quite a lot of that here.

thank you for listening-

Awe, I’m glad I turned up in this one! I don’t say it enough, but I always try to thank you guys for everything. You’re all so amazing. The book blogosphere wouldn’t be the same without you!

I think there was ONE gif on this. ONE.

ya books guaranteed to bring you joy-

None of those here. No, we tend to lean towards the ones with lots of death. And pain. And sobbing. It’s glorious. Continue reading

Happy Birthday to me! (yes, I’m posing right now)

Yup, it’s my birthday!

I’m going to have to get used to my new age haha. I always seem to get it down right before the next one comes along! I’m super excited for the year to come, blogging-wise as well as everything else! 🙂 Anyhoo, I figured I’d just do a quick little tag!

Thanks so much to Dimple @ Enthralling Dimple for tagging us! This was her first ever book tag, so check it out! She gave credit to all the creators, but ain’t nobody got time for that, so click on her links if you’d like to know where this all started. 🙂

For this tag, you have to relate your five most used emojis or five recently used emojis to books!

The Book Cover Guessing Challenge

We were tagged way back in August of 2015 for this…. Can you tell I’ve started to dig into my tags? 😉 In any case, thanks so much to Tasha @ Head in the Clouds, Heart in the Books for the tag! It looks super fun, and I can’t wait to get started!

Essentially, you pick some books (generally fairly well-known) that you know little to nothing about, and guess what they’re about based on the cover and title. And then compare your guess with the actual synopsis and see how badly you failed compare the two!

The ultimate wrap-up of all wrap-ups!

2016 EOY Books.jpg

Hello out there! Some of you may have been thinking that I wasn’t going to do a 2016 wrap-up, as it is already almost (oh boy) a couple of weeks in to the new year. However, I still thought I would do a wrap-up survey, and then at the very end of the year, I was tagged for this! Thanks so much to Eve @ Eve Messenger’s Otherwordly Endeavors for tagging me to do this! I appreciate all the conversations and recommendations you’ve given me in this past year. You’re such a great blogging friend! Cheers to the year to come! 🙂 Alright, without further ado, I present to you the Best of 2016: Continue reading

The Book Spine Tag

I found this tag when I was actually searching for another one that Nikki liked. She said it was involuntarily picking your family from book characters? It took me forever to figure out she meant the Book Life Tag…

Anyway, I found this in the archives of a website, Dee’s Reads. Basically, Dee said you create a poem from the titles on a book’s spine. Hers looked really fun and simple so I wanted to try it! But… We decided to make some rules, because we love nominating people. Continue reading
