Hey guys! A few days ago I posted a TBR for The Reading Quest as well as the 7 in 7 readathon, and I am pleased to update you with GOOD NEWS! (Well, mostly) I finished the last 100 pages of Uprooted (which I was reading for #MakeMeRead) on the 14th (first day of 7 in 7, second day of TRQ), and then was able to read the first 70 pages of Book of Shadows before I went to bed. Just a tad bit of poetry…

Life is always
In progress
Never done
Never truly finished
Always something more to do
Waiting for something to happen
Never done
My work is ongoing
And I will never reach the end
I am buried in all this never ending work
It only grows
It will cover me up
Until I no longer see the light of truth
And I will be buried in my own sweat
My own tears
My own blood
Buried by my own hand

Anyway, I found this in the archives of a website, Dee’s Reads. Basically, Dee said you create a poem from the titles on a book’s spine. Hers looked really fun and simple so I wanted to try it! But… We decided to make some rules, because we love nominating people. Continue reading
